At a minimum this means they'll have a delta V check to exit the system and an auto-navigator to take you there, but I'd worry about a lot of automated space flight features happening too early in the game. Why that concerns me? Anything interstellar will require handing off control to a fully automated system given the precision required will be far too tight for KSPs existing unusually manual approach to spaceflight. I've honestly got concerns with how they'll manage the interstellar component and what that entails for the rest of the game, they seem to have an odd amount of focus on things outside the Kerbol system and future tech. Also, they aren't trying to rush it out the door in less than 2 years, like initially planned lol. but from what I've seen they've only focused on features that a KSP fanboy would beg for, and apparently a bit of those features are already working. Maybe they've just said how much they love the game, repeatedly, that I believe them. Considering the current dev team has already accomplished some of the crazy things everyone's hoped for (like time-warp during a burn, or burning off-screen), and they've now got some devs of old, I'm pretty confident that it's going in the right direction. The only issue I have with KSP 2's development is their romantic and hyper-edited dev videos, even though they've revealed a lot of great shit. For a game that's so wholesome and niche, it's Studio history is really goddamn sketchy. the 2020 release was utterly moronic when it was announced anyways. /r/GamePhysics - Clips of game physics shining and glitchingĭesign based on /r/FlatBlue created by /u/creeschĪFAIK, the original release date was from the old studio, which ended up being the source of all the controversy./r/gaming4gamers - middle ground between purely-for-fun and more serious subreddits./r/GamingLeaksAndRumours - Leaks and Rumors.Posting unmarked spoilers will result in removal and warning, and posting spoilers with malicious intent will result in a ban.
